Questa variabile permette di Abilitare/Disabilitare il "Monitoraggio dei Text Flood in uscita"; puo' risultare utile per evitare dei Kick/Ban in canali/servers dove non e' permesso spedire oltre un certo numero di messaggi in un certo lasso di tempo. Ok, direi che l'intuizione a cui è seguita la modifica alla MACRO era quella giusta: hai problemi di permessi

Ora, non so in che modo è avvenuto l'upgrade della Ubuntu ed, in particolare, il ripristino del BOT ma, in qualche modo, devono essere andati persi i permessi, mi riferisco in modo specifico a quelli di "eseguibilità" degli script.

A livello di soluzione credo ti basti dare i seguenti comandi in un terminale:

cd $HOME/.xchat2/buduscript
chmod ug+rx *.sh


Questo dovrebbe ripristinare i permessi di esecuzione/lettura di tutti i file script, anche quelli personalizzati.

Alla fine era solo questa cavolata? Scusami Sto controllando, alcune cose sono tornate a funzionare, nel caso di anomalie verrà informato, anche se credo che abbia notato comunque anomalie lei con la versione 11.04 quindi aspetto che esci la nuova versione. Saluti

I problemi su Ubuntu, che peraltro ci sono sempre stati, sono esclusivamente dovuti ad alcuni fattori:

• L'uso di DASH come interprete dei comandi, al posto di BASH.
  DASH è simile a BASH, ma alcune differenze comportano problemi.
• L'uso di Links2 al posto di Lynx. In particolare il fatto che spesso c'è un link simbolico "lynx -> links2" che fa credere sia installato "lynx" ma in realtà si tratta dell'altro programma e sono pure abbastanza diversi.
• Per default installano - anzi, ora non mettono più un Client IRC puro installato per default - un XChat che non è quello originale, ma un fork prodotto da Gnome che è solo simile (aspetto e alcune funzioni), ma non compatibile con i plugin (almeno, non con il mio) ed, inoltre, non è semplicissimo capire che è quello "fasullo" (almeno, fino a qualche tempo fa, mi pare che ora - ma potrei sbagliarmi - gli abbiano cambiato nome in "XChat-Gnome").

In realtà avrei dovuto pensare subito ad un problema di permessi, ma lo dico con il senno di poi. Se non altro mi ha consentito di introdurre nuovi controlli che aiutano a risolvere questo ed altri inconvenienti.
